Historic Preservation Project

ConstructionThe Old Tavern has experienced significant deterioration throughout the building. The Old Tavern Preservation Society is engaged in a multi-phase project to Rehabilitate, Restore, & Revitalize the Tavern to reestablish the building and grounds as a destination in Northeast Ohio.

Our project approach will adhere to the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
Historic GardenOur Garden Team consists of volunteers, local nurseries, and landscape professionals. Our goal for the historic garden within the century old stone wall is to identify and rehabilitate historic native plants, add new plants historically popular in the 1910-1920's to match the era The Old Tavern will be restored.
We are grateful for the dedication of all involved in the Tavern garden design and maintenance. |
