The Old Tavern Preservation Society will host an online raffle in January 2022. We will raffle off a basket of spirits, a basket of wine, and a Tavern Experience: a private tour and dinner in the garden for up to 8 people!
Our Team is accepting donations for the raffle! Please contact Michelle Gerred for more details or to make arrangements to drop off donations.

While The Old Tavern Preservation Society remains cautious we are exploring options to bring back more in-person events in support of The Old Tavern revitalization in 2022!
Old Tavern Car Show
SUNDAY, AUGUST 22nd, 2021 11-4pm at Bill Stanton Community Park in Madison, OH
We are excited to gather again in support of The Old Tavern revitalization! Join us from 11-4 at Bill Stanton Community Park along the shores of lake Erie. $10 Donation per car. Event will include door prizes, awards, 50/50 raffle, LIVE music by THE HUMBUCKERS, and Chinese Auction. 1st 50 Cars receive dash plaque. Registration begins at 11, music begins at noon, Chinese Auction will draw at 3pm. Show up for the cars or just the auction!
Food will be available at additional cost.
Private 1798 Club Event
OPEN HOUSE - SATURDAY, OCTOBER, 2nd, 2021
1798 Club Members are invited to visit the Tavern from 2:30-4:30 for a private Open House to tour the Tavern, and pick up their exclusive 1798 gear, before enjoying an evening in the garden to listen to local Ghost Stories! Members are asked to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Fall is the perfect time to divide and replant in your garden. Join our Garden Team Leader and Master Gardener, Pat Gerred in the historic garden at The Old Tavern to learn the best way to divide your perennials. Workshop attendees will help divide hostas and other perennials then pot for future use. Each attendee will take home a plant from the Tavern garden!

Past Fundraisers & Events
2021 will mark our 10th year as a non-profit dedicated to The Old Tavern! In celebration of our anniversary, we will plant 1000 along the perimeter of the Tavern property for an amazing display of color next spring! You can purchase daffodil bulbs in bundles of 5 or 1 dozen to support the ongoing effort to Rehabilitate, Restore, and Revitalize The Old Tavern!

More Event News
For 45 years, Unionville has hosted an annual Antiques and Flea Market on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. The 2020 Flea was canceled due to COVID-19, and unfortunately, the Flea will not be back in 2021. The Unionville Flea has always been a well attended event that many people look forward to each year. We hope the event will return in the future...stay tuned.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are not planning any in-person events or gatherings until further notice. However, we are exploring options for virtual events. More details soon.
#GivingTuesday is a designated global day of giving traditionally held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year it will fall on November 30th, 2021.
